It is quite odd that every
facebook newbie is always interested in making new friends on the first day and
starting to socialize right then instead of getting to learn about the site and
how to make friends by looking at their profile pictures. One of these ways is
by commenting on what others have said and at the same time enjoying what you
read from the comments. I must admit that my first time with facebook wasn’t as
I am putting it now but this would be one of the things that I can tell a
newbie to consider when joining facebook.
First things first, you might be
able to gain friends but in the end you won’t have that recognition that you
were looking for and this can be obtained by coming up with funny statuses that
will at least break the “newbie barrier” and make you look like you’ve been
using facebook for some time. Some of the quotes that I found especially useful
for something like this may be things such as: “Statistically 5/4 of all the
people on earth have trouble with fractions”, “The only place you can find
success before thinking about work is in the dictionary” and others which tend
to look more like the about me quotes like “I used to be very good at word
play… Once a pun a time”. Basically there are lots of ideas to choose from so
as to make your way to the top but that will certainly not happen when you are
always looking for funny facebook statuses that have already been used before.
In fact there are applications within facebook that sort of help those of us
who have a hard time coming up with smart or funny statuses but all in all
coming up with the best status is sort of a dream because by tomorrow people
will have something new to laugh about.
