John Lennon’s Quotes

History tells us he was a great musician who majorly focused on rock and pop music  and besides just singing, John Lennon was also a great pianist and guitarist and even went ahead to compose songs. Like most of the other musicians out there, a lot is usually known about their backgrounds and what steered them into the music industry but one thing that is never looked into with a lot of concern lies in what they actually said. Yes, you might hear his song being played out there but have you actually listened to what is being said? Well, if you haven’t then you certainly won’t be the first one in the list because of varied interest among people.
I figured out that despite the rhythm of his songs, he had some great quotes that were truly inspiring to me and to some of the people I showed them to. One of the John Lennon quotes that really cracked me up was this one: “Everybody loves you when you’re six foot below the ground” and the fact that you’re six feet below the ground means that you really can’t receive the love because you’re already on your way to “judgment headquarters”. That reminds me of some of the “I miss you quotes” that would go well with this one with the first being “Just because I miss you doesn’t mean that I want you back in my life”. True, that’s got to hurt someone big time especially if it’s the same person who is only loved when six feet below the ground. Besides quotes such as this one, there are more “I miss you quotes” out there that target people who really aren’t missed, for example “I really miss your smile… but I tend to miss mine even more.”
