Inspiration does not only revolve around books and counsel meetings; this era of multimedia revolution has seen inspiration hail from all forms of sources. At the top of this list is music. When I relate this to the audience population, the major contributor to spreading the messages is hip hop. Hip hop artists employ advice in their talent and use their music to reach a vast majority of people, especially the upcoming generation. This not only works to reach them faster but also effectively as their quotes are easily memorized melodically.  Take for example some drake quotes, “The past which you carry along with you is a gift or curse when you’re going head first” and “Think with your head, you are probably not that much of an important to the others around you if you always treat people with no respect”. These lines have a great impact on their listeners and fans; they work to reshape their lives.

Another hip hop artist spreading his “gospel” is Lil Wayne. Some famous lil Wayne quotes are like: “I got to die with money because I really wasn’t born with it” and “Love me or hate me but I promise it won’t either make me or break me”. My take on this type of revolution is the age of writing is coming to an end, not that everyone will be singing, information will be kept in music tracks. Imagine learning your worst chemistry lesson as a song, by your favorite artist, would it not be simplified? Look at it this way, we all started by cave paintings, pictures that is, then came the age of writing and now we are moving on to a new way of preserving our history. So these hip hop lines are here to stay, after all don’t we live what we our environment makes us to?

It is quite odd that every facebook newbie is always interested in making new friends on the first day and starting to socialize right then instead of getting to learn about the site and how to make friends by looking at their profile pictures. One of these ways is by commenting on what others have said and at the same time enjoying what you read from the comments. I must admit that my first time with facebook wasn’t as I am putting it now but this would be one of the things that I can tell a newbie to consider when joining facebook.

First things first, you might be able to gain friends but in the end you won’t have that recognition that you were looking for and this can be obtained by coming up with funny statuses that will at least break the “newbie barrier” and make you look like you’ve been using facebook for some time. Some of the quotes that I found especially useful for something like this may be things such as: “Statistically 5/4 of all the people on earth have trouble with fractions”, “The only place you can find success before thinking about work is in the dictionary” and others which tend to look more like the about me quotes like “I used to be very good at word play… Once a pun a time”. Basically there are lots of ideas to choose from so as to make your way to the top but that will certainly not happen when you are always looking for funny facebook statuses that have already been used before. In fact there are applications within facebook that sort of help those of us who have a hard time coming up with smart or funny statuses but all in all coming up with the best status is sort of a dream because by tomorrow people will have something new to laugh about.

Social networking took the world by storm and even though nowadays it’s no longer something to be awed about, perhaps the one thing that might awe you is the fact that there are people out there who actually don’t even know about facebook yet! Well, that’s an alarm for sure and that makes me wonder the kinds of things that might interest them when they finally join the site. Of course the simple to use interface might be the first thing that boosts their love for the site but besides that, I found out that most people are always interested in reading comments and laughing about them so I thus gathered a few facebook statuses that I found suitable for them.

The first that caught my attention was “I once prayed to God for a bike but quickly found out that he didn’t work that way…I thus stole a bike and ended up praying for forgiveness.” This one had thousands of comments with most of the people who commented about them being the same ones who liked the status update. Besides simply dwelling on statuses alone, I also found out that there are quotes for facebook statuses as well but just like the statuses, they too maintain their share of humor. Some of them that made me crack include “War never determines who’s right, it actually determines who’s left”, “Every rule on earth has an exception, especially this one” and “I was about to make a gay joke…butt f**k it…” Well, those are just a few of them and you will most probably come across more online but the downside of directly copying them from the internet is that you might end up being less original and you’ll get even worse at coming up with great and funny facebook status.
